💼 RETAIL MANAGER – SAD NUGGIE EXPERIENCE STORE 💼
Location: Strathroy, ON
Starting Pay: $23-$25/hour | Full-time (30–50 hrs/week)

Sad Nuggie is more than just a store; it’s a destination. Every day, people travel from across North America to visit our space after falling in love with our brand online. They're here for more than products; they’re here for the whole experience. We’re looking for a Retail Manager who can lead the front-of-house team, uphold high standards, and ensure every customer leaves feeling seen, valued, and delighted.

Our store is busy seven days a week, with minimal downtime and frequent traffic spikes tied to social media. We need an organized, confident, and excited manager to lead in this fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience
  • Ability to manage high-traffic customer environments with professionalism and poise
  • Experience with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team leadership
  • Comfortable with hands-on leadership and leading by example
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Weekday and weekend availability are required

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience:

  • Lead the team in delivering consistent, five-star customer interactions
  • Step in to support the sales floor as needed, especially during peak hours
  • Ensure staff are trained to engage customers with confidence, product knowledge, and enthusiasm

Team Management:

  • Interview, hire, and train new team members
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular coaching, and address performance issues when necessary
  • Build and maintain a strong, positive team culture

Operations & Inventory:

  • Oversee store opening and closing procedures
  • Manage inventory levels, restocking, and product merchandising
  • Track sales trends and ensure the store is organized and well-stocked at all times

Loss Prevention & Standards:

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security protocols
  • Monitor for and address any loss prevention concerns
  • Ensure all store displays and stock are maintained to brand standards

Growth & Adaptability:

  • Help implement new systems and processes as we scale
  • Bring forward ideas for improving customer flow, team efficiency, or merchandising
  • Stay responsive to changing store needs during periods of high growth and activity
