Sad Nuggie Halloween Drawing & Pumpkin Carving Contest – Official Rules & Legal Terms
By entering the Sad Nuggie Halloween Drawing & Pumpkin Carving Contest (“Contest”), participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
This Contest is open to individuals of all ages worldwide. Void where prohibited by law.
2. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win the Contest.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, October 27th, 2024. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
Participants must submit their entries via the submission form on our website or email their submissions to contests@sadnuggie.com. Social media submissions are not guaranteed to be seen. Multiple entries are allowed.
5. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded as outlined in the contest announcement. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Digital prizes will be delivered via email.
6. Winner Selection
Winners will be chosen by the Sad Nuggie team based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the Halloween/Spooky theme featuring Sad Nuggie. Winners will be announced on Halloween, October 31st, 2024, via the contest page and email.
7. Ownership of Submission & Use of Submissions for Commercial Purposes
The Sad Nuggie name and character are protected are trademarked entity. By entering this Contest, participants agree that Sad Nuggie Ltd. may use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and create derivative works based on the submitted artwork for future commercial use, including but not limited to product designs, marketing materials, and merchandise.
Participants acknowledge that they will not be entitled to any compensation, royalties, or further consideration in connection with such use, and waive any claims or rights to future compensation for the use of their submitted artwork.
All submissions remain the copyright of the entrant; however, by submitting an entry, participants grant Sad Nuggie Ltd. an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use their artwork for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, in any media, without limitation.
Credit will be given to the artist whenever possible.
8. Privacy
Participants’ personal information (such as email addresses) will be used solely for the purpose of administering this Contest and communicating with participants. Personal data will not be shared with third parties. By entering, participants consent to these uses of their personal information.
9. Liability Waiver
Sad Nuggie Ltd. is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries due to technical or other issues. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sad Nuggie Ltd. from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance and use of any prize.
10. Right to Modify or Cancel
Sad Nuggie Ltd. reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or any factors beyond its control that may compromise the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
11. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario Canada. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
12. Safety
Sad Nuggie Ltd. will never ask for payment to enter this Contest. Any requests for payment related to this Contest are fraudulent and should be reported to contests@sadnuggie.com. Only communications from the following official emails are valid: contests@sadnuggie.com, shop@sadnuggie.com, info@sadnuggie.com, support@sadnuggie.com, licensing@sadnuggie.com.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sad Nuggie Ltd., which are final and binding.
